Hello, my name is Wendy Poirier, I am the teacher-librarian at Stonepark Intermediate School. Happily, we have returned to some pre-pandemic rules and students can take out 3 books at a time again, library monitors are back (hooray!), students can visit the library after school until 3:30 most days, but we will still only have 50 students in the library at lunch (there is only 1 teacher on duty). We plan to have art and writing contests every month, which students from all grades can participate in; prizes are art supplies for the art contests and writing supplies for the writing contests. We will be having our, “For the Love of Books” book drive in February again, as it was such a big success last year.
